110 square boxes precisely alike as many
slips of paper on which aro printed the 140
gins of denominations from ?lo to 91 0H) will

the gifts In tlio smaller wheel. Itoth wheels
will then be turned until their contents are
thoroughly mixed. A blindfolded boy
under la years of age will then draw from
tlio larger wheel one of the tags and hold-
lnglt up in full view of the audience its
number will he called loud enough for all to
hear by the crier appointed for this purpose;
the tag will then bo pawed to a committee of
three distinguished citizens who will say
whether the number hut been rightly called.
It will then he passed to n registrar who will
tile it ti pott u copper win; prepared for the
purjiose.
The number of the tag thus drawn cried
proven and filed will bo recorded by three
clerks lu separate book prepared for the
purpose.
A blliiiirohfrd girl of similar age will then
draw iroiii tlio smaller wheel one of the
scaled boxes which will be opened mid the
gift taken out unfolded and held up to the
view of the aiidionco.
The amount of the gift thus drawn will
then bo cried recorded by the three clerks
and the paper died by th registrar with Its
tag upon the wire.
The gilt thus drawn will belong to the tick
et bearing tlio sumo number as tlio tag
drawn Immediately before it. Tims this pro-
cess will continue until 140 numbers are
drawn from the larger wheel and all the
boxen from tlio small wheel. And tlio 1W
gifts thu drawn running Irani HOtoSI.Ouo
will bo paid to the parties who present the
tickets having number thus determined by
lot to no entitled them.
After the drawing Is over the largo wheel
containing the tags will be placed In the
haiijsof a committee chosen by the audi-
ence who can examine for themselves and
je whether all the tlekets sold wero repre-
sented by tags with cnrrosoudliiK numbers.
