To The Citizens of Winnsboro:
, There have been several ask-
ing various question concerning
the flection to be held Septem-
ber 7th in Winnsboro, and in
answering these questions I will
try and give all of the informa-
tion 1 can to the voters.
The city has contracted with
Mr. Crigler to pay him for the
paving done on the intersec-
tions ot streets Vhich has al-
ready been done and Mr. Crig-
ler agreed to take warrants
against the city for this paving,
but these warrants draw six
per cent interest and according
to law we can issue only $11,-
000.00 worth of warrants and
the paving that has been out-
lined will cost about $17,500.00,
for in some of this pavtng the
city will have to pay one-third
of it.
We found upen investigation
that we could issue $18,000 in
bonds end that we could sei:
