This edition of the newsletter includes an article from the Issues Committee: Live Shell Harvest Raises Concern Among Marine Resource Managers. Mollusk (lightening whelp, banded tulip, nerites, horse conchs, and others) shells were found on South Pare Island where the "live animals were removed from their shells and disposed of with only the shell kept for use."
