Study and Achievement Reap
THIS YEAR FOUR students were named semi-
finalist by the National Merit Scholarship Quali-
fying Test Board. They were Ben Hathaway,
Mike Salem, Hal Coward, and Linda Ridlehuber.
Later the three boys were notified that they had
advanced as National Merit Finalist.
lii1Linda Ridlehuber, National Merit Semi-finalist and winner of
the National Council of English Teachers Award for outstand-
ing work in that field.Another finalist is Ben Hathaway.
In addition to the honor of being named finalist, Mike Salem
was awarded the Texas Chemical Award.I -#
