SPEIGEL ELECTED JCL
hi /Wesley Speigel's election as state vice-presi-
dent of the Junior Classical League was signifi-
cant of an eventful year. With a record enroll-
ment of 156 members, the local JCL chapter
initiated a new series of evening program meet-
ings.
i Approximately thirty JCL members attended
t the Austin convention where Speigel was elected.
Other winners at the convention included Carol
Batty and Sherry King, competitors in Latin
. events.
