The Kipendano Circle of the
W.S.C.S. met in the parlor of the
Methodist church at 7:30 p. m.
Tuesday, Jan. 13, for its regular
meeting. Program leader for the
evening was Mrs. Fred Dines and

John Criswell; Mrs. James Fea-
zelle, Mrs. Billie Cornelius, Mrs.
Bill Bell and the leader. The de-

Bill Kimbrough, after which re-
freshments were served by Mrs.

on Friday of last week.

Sunday dinner guests of "Mr.
and Mrs. Holt Bishop were Mrs.
Gene Brown and Aliene, arid Mr.
and Mrs. Floyd Hill and boys.
Mr. and Mrs. O. A... Pierce are
at home after spending several
days in a Floydada hospital.
Mr. E. H. Brown and his broth'
er, Wesley Brown, of Haskell
are Visiting in Tennessee with
their Father who is ill.
The flu is certainly among us.
Mrs. J. Shroud is in. the Cros-
byton^hospital' at this time. Joe
Stroud, her son, is ill with flu, as
is Blanton Hartsell, Mr. and Mrs.
Marshall Money, Frank Moore,

Due to conflicting meetings at-
tendance at the January P.-T. A.
meeting Thursday night was
small, but those in attendance
report that they thoroughly en-
joyed the panel discussion on
"Crosbyton, Past, Present and
Future," led by County Supt. D.
A. Edwards. Taking part on the
panel were Olen Littlefield,- who
discussed the past; Mrs. W. P.
Lamar, the present, and Hubert
Curry, the future, of .the city. -
Miss Catherine Sellers fifth
grade won the $3.00 room count
prize.
