surgery and is recovering nicely.

SIXTH GRADE ELECTS
OFFICERS FOR 2ND TERM
The sixth grade met Tuesday,
Jan. 24, and elected officers for
the second semester. They are
Barbara Belding president; Ophe-
lia Fewell, vice-president; Bonnie
Sue Lofland, secretary and treas-
urer; Roberta D. Reed, reporter.
New room mothers chosen are
Mesdames Starrett, Wall, Hamm
and McNeill. Citizens of thatweek
were Roberta Dell Reed and Al-
vin Hamm.

Lubbock visited last week with his

the church were in charge of four
men from the Gideon society from
Lubbock. They were Mr. Grady

Mr. Peden. They gave some very
interesting talks which everyone
enjoyed.
