We are losing two men to the

organization reveal that we have
had no AWOL VD or DR for the
month of March.

This company has had two new
men assigned this week SFC
Clausen and Sgt. Hogan. The
battalion baseball team will have
another practice game April 28 at
Red Lindsay Field with the 73rd

Cpl. Fuman Wilson is planning
a three day pass this weekend with
his parents in Houston.

Company "A" lost two men this
week through separation chan
nels Corporal Hansen and SFC
Thompson. Thompson was motor
sergeant and Hansen was a me
chanic in our motor pool.
There has been a change in the
orderly room recently. M-Sgt
Claude J. Backes is now field first
sergeant and SFC James Pishnery
is now the new first sergeant.

Private Pelzer has entered the
Clerk Typist Course at the NCO
Academy. Cpl. Earl Parson has
returned from the NCO Academy.
Corporal Pasron has completed
the Mechanics Couse at the Acad
emy.
Sergeant Newby has returned
from leave having spent some time'
in Florida visiting relatives and
friends.
SFC Carmack has resumed
duties as mess sergeant replacing
SFC Duncan who has been trans
ferred to 73rd AFA Bn.

Mohr and Walter Carter have left
us for civilian life.

the battery this week is Pvt. Wil

every day from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m.

ball season here.

transferred to other companies of
this battalion. We wish them all
the best of luck in their new as

SFC Malcolm Sanborn just left
for a 15-day. leave. He plans to be
married in California.
Our mess hall is now being paint
ed and redecorated.
The third platoon is the Co.
The best supply room in the bat
talion belongs to Charlie Co. again
this week. The credit goes to SFC
Claude Brown our supply sergeant.
Charlie Co. also had the best mess
hall.
Our first Sgt. Jack D. Ford is
the proud "Papa" of an 8 lb. 9
oz. baby girl.
Pvt. Johnson Finley has won the
trophy for the best rifle shot in
Charlie Company. Pvt. Finley
shot 223 out of a possible 255.
We say goodbye to Sgt's Harold
Smith and Martin Leyva who re
ported to the 4005th ASU for dis
charge.
