This is a Personal Communication
to All the Farmers Hereabouts
This is a personal invitation—a special, pressing invi-
tation—to you as a farmer to attend the banquet to i*e held
at Hereford Tuesday night, January 17th, at seven o'clock,
in connection with the Panhandle Swine Breeders annual
convention. Thin invitation is intended for every farmer
within the Hereford trade territory. The Panhandle Swine
Breeders Association has grown during the past few years
from a tiny sucking pig into a full grown, hig. fat hog It
is one of the nwst important and useful organizations in
ff est Texas.
The invitation is extended gratis tut charge for the
banquet—and it is the desire of the committee in charge
that every farmer in the Hereford country be in attend-
ance. (Conditions concerning the successful growing of
hogs will be disc unset I. J\ot only the importance of good
blood but the details of handlinn pigs. im/Mtrtance of bal-
anced rations, sanitary coiulititms and everything that en-
ters into the production of pork on a profitable basis.
The most successful hog men in Texas will be in at-
tendance. Officials of the Texas Swine drawers Issocia-
tion will Ite here. You. as a pork prmlucer or grower of
breeding stock, will be /permitted to discuss with pnwtical
breeders and feeders the many intricacies of successful
pork making and the many details that enter into profit-
able hog growing.
If you are not raising hogs, you shoultl be. If you iwe
selling kafir and maize at 30c a bushel, with hogs at 7c a
pound, you re losing money, dome to the banquet and
hear such things discussed.
The date is Tuesday night. January 17th. at seven
o'clock. Remember, you are invited.
