YOU
FARMERS
We're going to hove the best Fair this
year ever held in the Texas Panhandle.
This is your Fair. It's up to you to help
make it a winner. 1 We fellows in town
are working night and day right now
and we want you boys in the country to
get in the game and help.
If you have anything real good—and
you ought to have this year—bring it
in. A big pumpkin, big water melon,
good kafir or maize, or any of the small
grains. If you have a real top notch
Hereford bull, bring him in—but re-
member, it is going to take a good one
to win. A good• colt—nice pair of
mares—fine pair of mules—team of
bang-up geldings—or a good milk cow
—bring them along.
Send in a bushel of good wheat and
win the $100 offer by the Hereford
grain dealers. In addition to the $100
first prize, there are four other cash
prizes on wheat. Forty dollars for sec-
ond, and $20, third, fourth and fifth.
This is worth going after.
Ask the women folks to bring their
stuff too. Canned fruits and vege-
tables, fancy work, chickens, turkeys,
and anything good out of the garden.
We need it all.
Lei9s all pull together and make this
a real Fair. We've got the stuff to do it
—so why not?
