NAMING HEREFORD
We, in Hereford, iind no reason to
object to the name of our town. It was
tbe logical aiul practical name to Rive
to this community, and, once you are
sccustomed to it, it falls gracefully
and beautifully from the tongue. Tbe
name grows on you. We wouldn't
think of exchanging it for any other.
The gentlemen who named Hereford,
we are told, rlslted the farm of Mr. J.
R. Jowell. They were served with an
excellent chicken dinner. When they
rose from the table, they went out in-
to the front yard of {heir host. A
panoramic K|iectacle confronted their
eyes, and they were impressed with
what they saw, for it was a subject fit
for the artist and the poet.
Let Guy W. Green, manager of the
Nebraska Feature Company, take up
tbe story and tell how Hereford got its j
name.
"A pasture!" exclaims Mr. tireen, in
a kind of ecstasy. "Perhaps a hun-
dred yards away a beautiful bunch of .
pure-bred Herefords. The grass was ,
lush about their feet. The sun was j
shining on thein and a little stream ,
was rippling by, adding its music to
the charm of the scene."
There was nothing left to do. The j

Let There Be No Discords
If your Ford car is out of tune, there is undoubtedly a very good ream
for it. And the best way to find that reason, and have It remedied, la to jump
in and drive to our authorised Service station, wh*re one of our mechanics
who 1s thoroughly acquainted with the Ford mechanism and who knows the
Ford way to adjust or repair yonr car. can tune it up in a garage that la
properly equipped to give real Ford iervice. Then, too we never use imita-
tion parts—only the Genutne Ford-made, strong and durable. They wear
from thirty to seventy-five per cent longer than tbe counterfeit parts that are
softer and more cheaply made. In fact It is dangerous to human life to use
imitation parts, and It is not fair to your Ford car or your pocket book.
We are a part of the gigantic Ford Service organisation whose purpose
it Is to serve the owners of all Ford cars and trucks; we have more than a
passing Interest In your car. Prompt service Is given on all work—from a
minor adjustment to a motor overhaul. Drive in and see the facts for your-
self—there's too much money invested In your Ford car to miss connections
with the authorised Ford dealers.

OilPull is the most efficient and
economical oil burning tractor on the
market.
Tins is proved by an experience as old aa
the industry itself. There is practically no
kind or condition of farm worn in which the
OilPull has not proved its suf crity—
whether it be breaking sun-baked virgin
sod on the prairies of the West. or plowing
through the muck of the sice lands of the
South.
One reaaon why the OilPull tractor is the
moat efficient oil-burning tractor is because
the entire machine, including the motor
and patented oil carburetor, is built in the
Rumely plant especially for oil-burning.
But you don't have to take any chance
even on such a remarkable record as the
OilPull haa established. With every Oil-
Pull you get a written guarantee that the
tractor will burn all grades of keroeena
under all conditions, and at all loads, to tta
full rated power.
And in the unusually strong construction
of the OilPull we find the reason for its
remarkable dependability—a dependability
well illustrated by the fact that the fiat
Oil Pulls built are still in use and good for
many seasons more.
Moreover, this economical
equally dependable and efficient at drawbar
or belt. With ita proper distribution of
weight and ita reservepower. it will handle
any drawbar job put up to it. With Ha
throttle-governed engine, giving automatic
speed control, the OilPull is second to none
for close speed regulation on the bdt^-not
