night, June 18, The Western Chautauqua System will open for a
week's program at THE STAR THEATRE
The system offers to the public, a. series of pro-
of such high degree of excellency as will merit

the welcome and patronage of the most cultured in any
community, and of such a character as will affeted
wholesome entertainment and beneficial instruction to
afl ages. This Chautauqua is classed as belonging to
die Uplift Movement, and are giving programs in all
of the best towns in the Panhandle this summer.
The first psogram, consisting of a Sacred Concert
by the Famous Musical Art Company will be given
Sunday night. There wiU be no admission charges
for Sunday night, and in order to accommodate die
large number of adults, who will come, die manage-
ment requests that children under 12 years of age re-
main at home. The ladies are especially invited. The
remaining programs will be given Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday nights.
We call attention to the personnel of the members of this Chautauqua; they rank among the leading platform
performers and Lyceum Entertainers in the United States. Read about them in the special programs distributed.
