Matt Hancock works on the bronze casting of Bastrop sculptor Clint Howard's statue honoring firefighters. The finished sculpture will be unveiled
Saturday (today) at 2 p.m. at the Bastrop fire station at 802 Chestnut St. The dedication is part of the city's celebration of the 175th anniversary of its
founding. Hancock was working at Bastrop's Deep in the Heart Art Foundary, owned by Howard.
