Monday night and Borger, Amar-

will have a team in the league.
Bob Takewell and Bill Harnagel
were spokesmen for Huber last
night. Huber also was represent-
ed by Ray Caldwell, former big
league pitcher and playing man-
ager of the Huber nine.
Takewell and Harnagel told the
group that Huber could and would
I enter the league only if Phillips
! B6 entered. They pointed out that
the reason for their stand was
because of scheduled games.
"Huber could not enter the
league and have a league gamej
1 scheduled and then find out that
I Phillips had a game scheduled
on that same date," Takewell
said. "Huber is waiting to find
out what Phillips is going to do.
We can not have a baseball team|
| and not have a place to play, and
I if Phillips uses Alamo stadium
then we can not."
It was suggested that a com-
mittee be appointed to phone
Hugh Miller, who is now in Bart-
lesville. and see if Phillips could
not enter the league. Phillips,
last Friday, refused to enter the
league an0 't is doubtful if the
company win reconsider,
