The inventory of Hale County records was conducted by Wayland Baptist College students from 1975 to 1976. They were supervised by Dr. C. Gwin Morris and Jim Case. Texas County Records Inventory staff members James E. Riney and Maurice G. Fortin conducted a final recheck in 1977.--See Preface, p. ix.
