Recorded copies of permits to appropriate public water,
issued by the State Board of Water Engineers. Shows application
and permit numbers, type of permit, name and
address of person to whom permit granted, date received,
date granted, county, water course and watershed, provisions
of permit, signatures of Texas Water Rights Commission,
date issued, clerk's attestation, and date filed
and recorded. Also includes requests for partial abandonment
of permits and orders by Texas Water Rights Commission
dissolving water control and improvement districts. Arranged
chronologically by date recorded. Handwritten;
typed; SPF-typed; photocopied. Volume dated 1959 to current
indexed in file; volume dated 1914 to 1963 (dates
vary) not indexed.

x 1 1/4".
Recorded copies of water rights appropriations filed under
provisions of Chapter 2, Title 60, Revised Civil Statutes,
Article 3115 to 3131. Includes:
a. Sworn statement on purposes of canal or irrigation
ditch;
b. Map or plat denoting route of ditch or canal;
c. Statement on when water to be taken from reservoir,
dam, or lake.
Also includes (p. 90) notice of registration of trademark
by Star Bottling Company of Austin (1902), showing facsimile
of trademark, description of mark, date filed, and date
recorded; and (pp. 121-126) record of water rights appropriations
to City of Austin for waterworks to provide water,
light, and power. Arranged chronologically by date recorded.
