Carbon copy of letter from John J. Herrera, LULAC Immediate Past national President, to Joe Ortiz, LULAC District Governor of Fort Worth, Texas, dated July 23, 1953, on LULAC letterhead. Herrera outlines details of a LULAC Council meeting in Fort Worth on August 2, 1953, where an American flag flown over the Capitol will be presented by Senator Price Daniel. Original enclosures were copies of letters to Senator Daniel and Neville G. Penrose, Chairman of the Good Neighbor Commission of Texas.
