"Life we've been long together. Through
pleasant and cloudy weather, Tls hard to
part, when friends are dear, Perhaps twill
cost a sigh; a tear. Then steal away,
give little warning, Choose thine own time;
Say not goodnight, But in some brighter
clime; bid me good morning.
Mr. John D. Tabor the youngest child of
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tabor was born in
Lockart, Texas. He later moved to Austin,
Texas where he became a Christian at an
early age. In 1913 he wS,s united in
marriage to Mable Johnson, two sons were
born to this union, she and one son pre<-
ceeded him in death. After moving to
San Antonio, Texas he joined the Emmanuel
A.M.E. Church. In 19^8 he was united in
marriage to Mable Willis. .He was a loyal
and devoted Emmanuelite serving in many
pha'ses of the church until Illness. Mr,
Tabor departed this life Monday October
29, 1973 at 8:00 AM.
He leaves to cherish his memory a wife,
children, grandchildren, great grandchild-
ren and a host- of other relatives and
friends.
