Obituary
Mrs. Helen Reeves Miller
Mrs. Helen reeves Miller was born October 16,
1913 in San Antonio, Texas, the third and
youngest child of Willis and Josie Reeves. She
was educated in the San Antonio Public Schools
and graduated from the old Douglas High School.
Mrs. Miller was employed for more than twenty
years as a Civilian Employee Nurse at Wilford
Hall United States Air Force Medical Center. On
the occasion of her retirement from Federal
Service, she was awarded the Certificate of
Appreciation by the Commanding General of
Wilford Hall U.S.A.F. Medical Center.
Mrs. Miller was the mother of five children,
three of whom preceded her in death. She is
survived by her husband, John Harvey Miller;
two children, Mrs. Selena M. Jones and Johnny
Reeves Galloway; six grandchildren and six
great grandchildren.
Helen Reeves Miller was a warm, loyal, loving
and generous person who will never be forgotten
by anyone she ever met. The family is sad but
we know that she is now in Heaven with God and
all the saints.
We wish to thank the many friends and members
of Mount Zion First Baptist Church, Rev. C.
William black, Jr. and other for their kind
expressions of sympathy and courtesies.
We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to
Mrs. Lou Nelle Sutton and the Sutton-Sutton
Mortuary Staff for their thoughtful and
exemplary services.
