Today has been one of the best Sundays in all my experience
at Stamford. Mother's day services this morning
with more than usual of the membership present, and an
extra good service tonight with R.BRmen, visitors anda
full choir,Mrs.Jaa.VWhite,of Rule,singing a solo for as.
S.S.Council also met this p.m. with reviving spirit whici
peomises more interest in the future. The Lord has been
good to me and my work especially today.
Brooks McLane and I rolled around in the Buick to Haskell,Throckmorton,Eliasville
(where Brooks preached Wed.),
Strawn,Ranger, astland,Cisco(where Brooks left me to so
to Gorman for Sunday),then alone back home. The trip was i
indeed pleasant, but I was very tired Sat.after returning
Fri.night. Gone only 4 days and three nights. In comparison
with former trips,a very inexpensive one. About
$3.50 spent for Gas and oil;without Other expense.
