had as their week-end guests
their daughter and family, Mr.
and Mrs. David Largent, Steve
and Mark, of Hereford, Ariz. The
Largents stopped over after
visiting the Fort Worth Fat Stock
Show.

Rhonda and Brenda; Joe Moore,
Duane McClure,..Miss Roberta
Reed. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Mc-

Moss and sons of Memphis. We
wish for Ronald and Jean many
more happy anniversaries. Af-
ternoon callers were Mr. and
Mrs. Brice Allen and girls and
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Taylor and
girls.
Some of the boys from our
community enjoyed horseback
riding and visiting with the R. C.
Woods Sunday afternoon down
at the Ranch.
Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Thornhill
visited with-- Mr. and Mrs. J. M.
Bennett on Monday night of last
week. Mrs. Bennett and Mrs.
Thornhill declare they were the
best 42 players.
Hurrah! At last someone went
fishing and brought back some

along with Mr. and Mrs. Pritch-
ard of Oklahoma went to Corpus
Christi two weeks ago last Sat
urday. TTiey were snow and lee
bound and had to stay longer
than they had planned, but any
way they brought back some
fish (regardless of who caught
them*. They were really good
eating. The D. D.'s and we the
T. E. Thornhills. enjoyed the
fish fry with the Beckhams on
Friday night of last week.
Those helping Mr. and Mrs
Homer Smith and Bessie of Cros-
byton get their moving loaded
onto the truck Friday evening of
last week were Grady Howard.
Elvis Marley, Mr. and Mrs. D.
D. Thornhill, Mr. and Mrs. Con-
da Starrett. Mr. and Mrs. T. E.
Thornhill. Mrs. M. R. Givens and
boys. Mrs. J. C. McCracken, Mrs.
Clara Dean and Mrs. Keltoa
Winegar ana Karen. D. D. and
T. T. Thornhill took the truck
load on to Dimmitt for the
Smiths Saturday, where they are
going to operate a cafe. They in-
vite all to come see them in their
new location. We surely wish for
them the best of luck. - .
Sunday visitors In the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Ola Moore were Mr.
and Mrs. Tony Edinburgh and
children and Mr. and Mrs. Don-
ville Moore and children.
Miss Elsie Ratheal visited
Sunday with Miss Betty Berry.
We were Jiappy to have Don-
nie Seigler home and attending
both morning and night church
sendees. We did enjoy his testi-
monial message.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Givens were
Sunday evening callers with Mr.
and Mrs. M. R. Givens and boys.
We were glad to have Mrs. S.
P. Fox visiting in our church ser-
vices Sunday night.
Cecil Berry made a business
trip to Chicago last week. He
says for a country boy "Chicago
is quite a city."
Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Havens
of Kalgary were Saturday callers
in the homes of "Mr. and Mrs. H.
L. Morris and Joyce and Mr; and
Mrs Billy R. Webster. Elaine and
Brian.
Tommy Thornhill visited with
Marshall Berry on Saturday ev-
ening of last week.
Monday of last week Mr. and
Mrs. D. D. Thornhill visited with
Mr. and Mrs. Conda Starrett.
Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Thornhill
were Tuesday visitors with Mr.
and Mrs. Kelton Winegar and
Karen.
Mrs. J. C. McCracken and Mrs.
Clara Dean returned home one
day last week after visiting with
Mrs. Dean's sister, Mrs. Ed Lead-
better in Marlow, Okla. They re-
port Mrs. Leadbetter is feeling
better.
