PLANT fREES.
Now is the time to plant trees.
Nothing adds tq the appearance
and value of a home, or shows
the pride and culture of a people
more than yards and grounds
beaut:i •'1 ' i trees, shrubs and
dowers, and there is no reason
why every home in Crosbyton
should not be surrounded by
these marks of beauty and re-
finement Especially should the
grounds around the court house
and school building be ornament:
ed with trees and shrubs.
The Review hopes to see trees
planted all over town during the
nest month or two, and that our
court square will be looked after
at (he liextrneetin-g-of the county
commissioners, and provision
made by them to plant'trees 'in
the court house yard and other-
wise beautify the same, is one of
our fondest hopes.
hands you each publication day
for a cent or two would cost you
many dollars if you, went out to
gather it[ up yourself.
But this is not a kick, nor is it
a roast. It is just a little food for
thought in a few of your idle '
moments. — Plains Developer.

B. F. Iiines, -the popular post-
master at McAdoo, was a pleas-
ant caller at tHe Review office
Monday morning while here on a
tax-paying expedition, and we
were pleased to learn that he and
the editor are from the same
county in Mississippi. To spend a
while with him it makes. ..us feel
like taking a trip back to our old
boyhood home. Mr. Hines has
been in^ Crosby county several
years and it is his- verdict that
there is no better country to be
found. .
The Review comes to our: • ex-
change table this week under
new management, J. T. Buck of
Chillicothe being the new owner
and no doubt will be a great fac-1
tor in the upbuilding of Crosby j
county and the South Plains in j
general. If the support is given I
Mr. Buck, in keeping with the
thriving little city of Crosbyton j
the Review will be of untold |
told value to the citizens of that |
portion of the county. No.man,
especially a newspaper man, can
do wi thout the entire cooperation
of every citizen in the com-
munity in .which he, lives and
with that kind of support he can
do wonders. Here's hoping that
Mr. Buck will succeed bey oh d out-

Your Reciprocation,'
The local paper is always hust-
ling for you and yours, but what
are you doing for it?
The paper is always scheming,
planning and" laboring for a bet-
ter community, and for a "more
prosperous community.
Do you ever exert yourself to
give the paper a boost? The
paper is always pushing you and
your people to the front, giving
you a good word before your

any way? Do you ever suggest
to your neighbors or your friends
that it is a good paper, a loyal

their support?
The paper devotes many hours
and many pages in advertising
