To Rembve Scorch Marks
Suppose you scorch your linen
to a beautiful brown which color
however is not desired. Suppose
also, that the sun's shining rays
refuses to eradicate the evidence
of the hotness of your iron.
Then let me tell you what to do.
Bake an onion, squeeze out the
juice, mix it with a little shaved
soap, a small cup of vinegar and
one ounce of fuller, s earth.
Heat this together until the soap
has melted. Leave till cold and
then apply to the scorch. Let it
dry on, wash'in the usual way,
and lo the scorch has disappeared.
