The first State Fair of Texas Horse Show, to he staged in the
Fair's new Livestock Coliseum Oct. 30-25. will feature all the
stylish breeds, such as this .'J-gaited American Saddle Horse, in
addition to tin Quarter horses. Palominos and Shetland ponies
that have competed at previous Fairs. The stylish horses will strut
their stuff in the Horse Show's S< t ies I O • 10-1'!.
Galaxy Of Entertainment Stars
To Appear At 1959 State Fair
Dallas'—Many of the bright-
est stars of the entertainment
world will be presented by the
1959 State Fair of Texas. Oct.
9-25. And many of the big shows
in which they will appear are
free.
In its annual "bigtinte" attrac-
tion, the State Fair Music Hall
will spotlight the famous sing-
ing McGuire Sisters in a fabu-
lous musical revue, "Star Light!
Star Hright!" which alsfea-
tures the comedy team of Rowan
and Martin
And the incomparable Ice Ca-
pades return- to the Fair with a
new cast of internationally re-
nowned skating stars in an en-
tirely new show hailed as the
"best yet."'
