Traditional wedding music was
played.
Given in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride was gowned in
a white brocade organdy dress,
semi-wedding styled. Her veil
was held in place by a crown
of pearls and she wore a watch,
a gift of the groom. White ac-
cessories accented her ensemble
and she carried a bouquet of
white carnations.
Attending the bride as maid of
honor was Miss Elane Gamble
of Taylor. Bridesmaid was Miss
Scarlett Clardy, Bastrop, sister
of the bride.
The bridegroom was attended
by Randall Parmer of Taylor
as best man, and groomsman
was Jimmy Clardy, Ba.-trop, bro-
ther of the bride.
For her daughter's marriage,
Mrs. Clardy chose a navy blue
linen dress. She wore white ac-
cessories and a white carnation
corsage. The mother of the
bridegroom was attired in a
biue-gray dress with white ac-
cessories and a corsage of white
carnations.
A reception was held imme-
diately following the ceremony
in the church parlor. The bride's
table, laid with a white cloth,
held a three tiered wedding
cake. Other decorations were
white gladioli and fern.
For a wedding trip to Houston
and Louisiana, the bride chose
Guild Meeting
Mrs. Frank Adams presented
an inspiring review of Dr. Nor-
man Vicent Peale's book. "The
Power of Positive Thinking", to
members of St. Margaret's Guild
of Calvary Episcopal Church,
following a brief business meet-
ing at the home of Mrs. W. R.
Kesselus on Tuesday of last
week.
During the social hour refresh-
ments consisting of ice cream
and cake were served to Mrs.
Paul D. Page, Mrs. Robert
Trigg, Miss Fay Chalnu-rs, Mrs.
Frank Adams, Mrs. J. V. Ash
Jr., Mrs. Melburn Rabensburg,
