All who use Chamberlain's Pain

with the quick relief from pain
which it affords. When speaking
of this Mr D. N. Sinks, of Troy,
Ohio, says: "Some time ago I

in my arm and shoulder. I tried
numerous remedies but got no re-
liet until I was recommended by
Messrs Geo. F. Parsons & Co.,
druggists of this place, to try
Chamberlain's Pain Balm. They
recommended it so highly that I
bought a bottle. I was soon re-

Supreme Court ot Appeals Give Him the
Kentucky Governorship.
Frankfort, April -7.—The state
supreme court of appeals yesterday
handed down its decision ifi the
governorship case in favor of the
Democrats. Tbe opinion is by
six of the judges, four Democrats
and two Republicans. One Re-
publican dissented.
Judge Durele was the only dis-
senting judge, the other two Re-
publican judges, Eurnam and
Guffy, gave a separate opinion
from the Demccratic judges but
which agrees with the Democratic
members in its conclusion. Judge
Hobson wrote the opinion of the
court.
The concurrence ot Judge
Burnam and Guffy with the four
Democratic judges was a surprise
generally, but to Republicans es-
pecially, and there is much specula-
tion now as to whether the talked
of appeal to the supreme court will
be prosecution.

The big dam at Austin broke
last Saturday and a flood of water
fifty feet in depth and eleven hun-
dred feet in width was turned loose
in a minute and every thing before
it was swept away, and a dozen or
more persons were drowned,
houses, stock of every kind and
farms were destroyed. The loss
at Austin is estimated at more
than a million dollars. Mr. John
Bate man, of this city, was in a few
feet of the dam when it gave way,
and says that the spectacle beg-

gin in disorders of stomach, liver,

The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at
least one dreaded disease that
science has been able to cure in
all its stages and that is Catarrh.
Hall's Catarrh Cure is the only
positive cure now known to the
medical fraternity. Catarrh being
a constitutional disease, requires a
constitutional treatment. Hall's
Catarrh Cure is taken internally,
acting directly upon the blood and
mucous surfaces of the system,
thereby destroying the foundation
of the disease, and giving the
patient strength by building up the
constitution and assisting nature
in doing its work. Tbe proprie-
tors have so much faith in its
curative powers, that they offer
one Hundred Dollars for any case
that it fails to cure. Send for list
