Nancy J. Heritage has filed suit i

asking a divorce from John Herit-
age on the ground of desertion, in
order that she may be reinstated
on the rolls of- the pension depart-
ment aa the widow of Silas Wil-
liamson. Previous to the war Mrs.
Heritage was wedded to Williamson
and after their marriage he entered
the army and was killed while
fighting for his country at Shiloh.
The widow drew a pension for a
while (and then married a man by
the name of Clevenger, who died,
leaving ewe son. In the course of
