Wayland Baptist
Tickets for the joint appearance of
Christian humorist Dennis Swanberg
and Grammy-winning gospel record-
ing artist Larry Ford at 7 p.m. Friday,
Jan. 29, in Wayland's Harral Auditorium
are now on sale. Tickets are $20 each

Star Search
Star Search practice will begin at 8 a.m.
on Saturday, Jan. 30. Information has
been given to local schools. The show will
begin at 6 p.m. at the Sweetwater High
School Auditorium. All finalists should
come dressed in costume by 5:45 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 1
Maryneal Meeting
The Maryneal Community Center will
have their bi-monthly meeting at 7 p.m.
on Monday, Feb, 1, 2010, at the com-
munity center. All candidates for public
office are welcome to speak of their quali-
fications during the meeting.
Big Country Dance
The Big Country Dance will be held
from 7:30-10:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb.
1, 2010, at the Nolan County Coliseum
Annex. Admission os $5 per person and
Muddy Creek will provide the entertain-
ment.

J .el's Talk Books
Let's Talk Books, the book club of the
County-City Library, will meet Tuesday,
Feb. 2 at noon in the meeting room. The
book selection is The Greatest Generation
by Tom Brokaw. Sack lunches will be
provided for the first 12 people for a $4

H1N1 Clinic
The Sweetwater-Nolan County Health
Department will have an H1N1 clinic on
Tuesd .. Feb. 2, from 1 p.m. until 4:30
p.m. The clinic is open to anyone and
there is no cost. The Sweetwater-Nolan
County Health Department does not dis-
criminate against any person on the basis

or age.

Jump Rope Team will be performing at

Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital
Diabetes Outreach will present "Diabetes,
Heart Disease and Benefits of Exercise,"
which will be presented by Wesley
Stafford, M.S. Learn why physical activ-
ity is important to your health and your
diabetes on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at 2
p.m. in the Emergency Room Classroom
on Jenny George Lane. Everyone is wel-

Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital
Auxiliary invites everyone to attend a
reception Friday, Feb. 5, from 9:30-
11:30 a.m. in recognition of National
Heart Health and to celebrate National
Wear Red Day. The reception will be
held in the Admissions Lobby. The vol-
unteers will be serving snacks, cookies
and red punch and hospital personnel
will be providing blood pressure and
cholesterol screenings. Please join the
Auxiliary as we celebrate National Heart
Health.
