Wallace Ray Richardson was a gifted son born to the parentage of
Rev. Jim and Mrs. Olivia (Henry) Richardson
His early school years were spent in San Antonio, Texas, wherein
he attended Riley Elementary and graduated from Jefferson High
School.
September 1969 he married Joann Word and a baby girl, Monica
Michelle Richardson, was born to their union.
His early religious training came upon his confession and joining
the St. Phillip Baptist Church of Waelder, Texas. In later years he
joined the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church where his father pastors.
He loved to work and for twenty years he was employed as a master
mechanic at the Fort Sam Houston Army Base where he met his
untimely death on Wednesday, January 15, 1992.
His life will be remembered and cherished by a very special friend,
Patricia Alley; his devoted parents, Rev. Jim Richardson, father;
Mrs. Olivia Henry Richardson, mother; three brothers, Rodney
Stevens, Canyon Lake, Texas, Roderick Stevens, San Antonio,
Texas, Roy Stevens, Houston, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Jimmie Ann
Butler, San Antonio, Texas; his children, Little Wallace Hardeman,
Olivia Adam, Monica Michelle Richardson; two grandchildren,
grandparents, Vernis (Olivia) Henry, Harwood, Texas, Mrs. Annie
Richardson, Harwood, Texas; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
