Mrs. Alberta G. Desmukes departed this life Tuesday, July
14th, 1981. She was the twelveth child of the late Alex and
Savannah Murphy. Attended Cameron High School and Prairie
View College, taught in elementary school in McClellan County,
before moving to San Antonio where she worked in Civil Service
until her retirement in 1972. Active in church work til she was
called to her reward.
She is survived by her husband Frank T. Desmukes, Jr. one
sister, Bettie Mae Davis, nieces, nephew and a host of other
relatives and friends.
