Interesting Meet
The Keel Klub met Wednesday
afternoon at the Navy Town rec-
reation hall with Mrs. Ford C.
Hawkins as hostess. ,
Mrs. Sam Yerby was initiated
as a new member with Mrs. W.
T. Hardwick. Mrs. Bill Shuman
and Mrs. S. C. Hall in charge of
the Initiation. '
The birthday anniversary of
Mrs. Walter Nasman was celer
brated and monthly gifts were
exchanged.
Petunias and daisies were used
in decoration of the rooms and
light refreshments were served.

The Pine Grove Homemakers
club met Tuesday afternoon May
for the election of officers for

social chairman; Mrs. Swann, sec-

After the business meeting
plans were discussed for the can-
ning of fruits and vegetables
through the summer months.\ It
was decided that the new name
for the cottage be "The Pine
.Grove Cottage" instead ulV the
"Woman's Workshop" as It lias
been previously called.
