VOLUME 114, NUMBER 13
THURSDAY 25 MARCH 2004
RECORD
They've been wording on the railroad...
and this Thursday morning, much of that work will culminate in a massive project
to place the beams atop the standing columns on the north side of the Highway 60
overpass. The result—20-30 minute traffic delays at the north end of town for the
duration of the day. Highway travelers will have the opportunity to witness a 27-
foot crane hoist three massive 143-ton steel spans across the two columns.
More photos and details of the railroad construction
will be published in next week's Canadian Record.
