The Junior High Wildcat boys
outpaced the competition at Ca-
nadian's Fall Foliage Cross Coun-
try Meet last Saturday, while the
Junior High Lady Cats placed
third overall. The course was
shortened to 1.6 miles due to
heavy rain that fell that morning.
Chris Dorris led the Cats with
a 3rd-place finish in 10:06, fol-
lowed by Jockson Bilbrey 6th in
10:18. Joshua Kirkhaft finished
Sth in 10:24, Paul Lewis 9th in
10:26, Alvan Morales 10th in
10:46, J.C. Chappell 12th in 11:03,
Clint Cockrell 13th in 11:09,
Baron Meeks 15th in 11:19,
Hadley Jackson 16th in 11:34,
Tae Kwon Do winners
Luke Abraham and Sam Schwerzenbach of Canadian won med-
als in the Poos Brothers Tae Kwon Do Championships held Sep-
tember 27 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the Cox Convention
Center. Luke placed 3rd in Sparring in the ages 9-10 Green Belts
Division and received a bronze medal. Sam won 1st in Sparring
in the ages 9-10 Yellow Belts Division, earning a gold medal.
Both young athletes study at T& W Martial Arts in Pampa with
instructor Gary Willoughby.

Browning 73rd in 12:58, Sue
Royse 76th in 13:03 and Lorena
Ramirez 81st in 13:10.
The girls placed third with 113
points, behind first-place
Spearman with 26 points and Pan-
handle with 58.
This week's Wildcat varsity
football game will be played
against the Panhandle Panthers
on Saturday evening at Wildcat
Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for
6 p.m. The weekly "breakfast of
champions" hosted by the Cattle
Exchange will be held Saturday
morning at 9 o'clock. Steaks and
eggs are on the menu for $5 per
person. All Wildcat players,
coaches and fans are wel-
