Texas Administrative Code
The Texas Administrative Code (TAC) is the approved, collected volumes of Texas
administrative rules.

number. For example in the citation 1 TAC 27.15:
1 indicates the title under which the agency appears in the Texas Administrative
Code;
TAC stands for the Texas Administrative Code;
27.15 is the section number of rule (27 indicates that the section is under
Chapter 27 of Title 1; 15 represents the individual section within the chapter). ^Texas Register
