Mrs. Mary E. Ingram passed a-
way at the home of her daughter
Mr J W. McLeod on October K, at
c>2■'> p. m., after a lingering illness.
Grandma Ingram, as she was af-
fectionately called, was born in Mis-
sissippi on December 4. 1850, and
was so year . 10 months and 1 days
of age at the time of her death
She came to Texas at the age of
1 I and at the age of ]s was married
to W. II. Ingram, who proceeded her
to the grave on July 27, 1920.
During her illness Grandma was
the recipient of many lovely flow-
ers, From her birthday on Decem-
ber 4, and until the time of her
death there was not a time when the
room wa- not decorated with flow-
ers from some thoughtful friend
This alone showed the loving esteem
of her numerous friends. Many
beautiful floral offerings were sent
as a last token of love from the
scores of friends who gathered to
pay their last respects to one whose
passing so deeply grieved them.
Pallbearers were A. A. Offield, Ed
Cartwright, Richard Meek, Glen
Jackson, H. K. Ballard and Bob liar
rison.
Surviving her are three daughters
Mrs. J. W. McLeod, of Elgin: Mi-s
Esther Ingram, of Elgin; ami Mrs.
J. F. Patton, of Austin; seven grand-
children and two great grandchil
dren. Mrs. Ingram was the mother
of ten children, two of whom were
orphans, and her entire life was
spent in unselfish devotion to
children and family.
On August 1, 1920, Grandma c

daughti r, Mrs. J. W, M cLeod,
here she found a loving place in
hearts of all who knew her- an

cheerful disposition and her staun h
