CSO Report
The fol lowi ng i ncidents were reported to the Office of Campus Safety
between Saturday, March 29, 2008 and Friday, April 5, 2008.
Monday, March 31, 2008 at 1:54 p.m.—Paramedics were called to
campus to transport a University employee to a local hospital.
Monday, March 31, 2008 at 3:18 p.m.— "le Athletics Department
reported graffiti at the baseball field.
Monday, March 31, 2008 at 5:35 p.m.—The Campus Safety Office
received an automatic fire alarm for the O'Connell Residence Hall.
Fhe Irving Fire Department was called to campus while a Campus
Safety officer went to the building. It was determined the alarm had
been caused by a potholder being left on a stove heating element.
Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 12:55 p.m.—A student reported her car
being damaged while parked on campus.
Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 1:50 a.m. - A group of unknown persons
committed multiple acts of vandalism on campus.

SPUD reminds everyone
that Spring Formal is coming up
Friday, April 11, from 8:00 p.m.
to 12:00 a.m. This year, the dance
will be held al The Empire Room
in downtown Dallas located on
the 48th floor at 1401 Elm St. it
is divided into several different
rooms, including a bar, a smoking
room, and the dance floor is
one of the largest in Dallas.
The Empire Room is known for
providing an incredible view
of all four sides of downtown.
Catering will be provided by Gil's
Elegant Catering and food for the
evening will include a cheese
board, hot hors d'oeuvres, a pasta
station, French pastries and more.
Music will be provided by Colby
Logan of Astounding Sounds,
so come with requests ready!
Transportation will be provided,
leaving from the tower at every
half hour from 7:30 -11:00 p.m.
or valet parking is available at
the Elm St. garage for $5 / car. If
you are over 21, there is a cash
bar with beer and mixed drinks
(prices ranging from $3 to $12),
so don't forget to bring cash and
your ID. Tickets will be sold in
Haggar foyer all week for $25/
single or $40/couple. Tickets will
also be available at the door for
$30 single/$50 couple. Get your
tickets now!
