As a student at exas Wesleyan, you have the opportunity to apply for the Hatton W Sumners Foundation
Scholarship. The scholarship, up to $3,500 per semester toward tuition for your junior and senior years, is
open to all students. Preference is given to those studying political science, pre-law, history, or social stud-
ies. Students from other program areas who have high academic achievement, are involved in activities, and
exhibit leadership and a strong sense of community responsibility will also be considered. Sumners Scholars
also participate in special forums, lectures and programs on public policy leadership, and civic participation.
