HON. MARVIN JONES PAYS
SHORT VISIT IN ASPERMONT
—o—
Congressman Marvin Jones was a
visitor in Aspermont today (Thurs-
day). He has been in Texas since the
adjournment of Congress about two
weeks ago.
Mr. Jones is a hard working mem-
ber of Congress and as a member of
the Agricultural Committee is the
author of several measures in the in-
terest of this section.
He is the author of the law pro-
viding for a study of new uses for
cotton under which new outlets have
been found for more than.a half mil-
lion bales. President Coolidge pre-
sented Mr. Jones with the pen which
he signed the measure. He is also
the author of the amendment forbid-
ding the department from issuing the
price forecasts.
As ranking man from a cotton ana
wheat section Mr. Jones is in a posi-
tion to have a voice not only in the
pasage of legislation favorably af-
fecting West Texas, but also the kil-
ling of bad legislation that would in-
jure our interests.
Mr. Jones has many friends in this
section who were glad to see him a-
gain and he expects to return to As-
permont later on for a speaking date
in the interest of his campaign for
re-election.

Dr. McKnight had crossed just a
short time before but when he came
back and started across he found out
too late that a rise had come down'
and he all but lost his car for it was'
almost completely covered with mud
and water before several men could
get there with teams to pull him out.
It took three teams to haul the car (Jail J.

Scientists say that flies carry germs
of typhoid fever, infantile paralysis,
summer disorders and over thirty
other diseases. Flies should be killed.
FLY-TOX is harmless to people but
sure death to mosquitoes, roaches,
moths and bed bugs as well as flies.
FLY-TOX is fragrant, stainless, sure.

Woman Picked Up,
Got Strong.
"I can heartily recommend
Cardul. because I have found
it so helpful," declares Mrs.
Norton Smith, of Warrenton,
Georgia.
"I was very much run-
down, and was hardly able
to get about.
"I could not sleep at night,
and was in a highly nervous
condition. Nothing seemed
to help me, and I was almost
in despair. I decided to try
Cardul and sent for a bottle.
"I soon began to improve.
I got so I could eat. My ap-
petite was good. My nerves
got stronger, and I was able
to sleep well at night. I
picked up in weight and my
color was much better."
Cardui is sold by all drug-
gists. Try it.
