Happy the Clown performs for Red Ribbon
To kick off Red Ribbon Week, the Safe and Drug Free Schools organized a visit from "Happy the
Clown", a very talented inspirational speaker, to talk to the students about the dangers of substance
abuse. Through song, dance, skits and jokes, Happy gave the students some very uplifting words. He
told them that every person is beautiful and not to let anyone tell you otherwise. He also told them i<
go against peer pressure and be their own person and see their world the way they want to. His
inspiring words were well taken by all the students and he was in awe of the strong positive energy
that was evident in the High School Gym on Thursday morning "Invest in yourself," he said, "and
you will have a big payoff in the end." (RGCCISD photo).
