Nicolasa E. Gonzalez, 62,
died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday,
November 8, 1979, at her
residence.
Funeral services were
held at 4 p.m. Friday,
November 9, at the Im-
maculate Conception
Catholic, followed by burial
at the Rio Grande City
|Cemetery under the
"direction of Sanchez Funeral
Home.
Survivors include three
sons-Jose Armando Gon-
zalez, Arturo Gonzalez, and
Arnulfo Gonzalez, all of Rio
Grande City; and four
daughters--Emma G.
Guerra, Ninfa G. Lopez, and
Hilda G. Guerra of Rio
Grande City, and Norma G.
kNavarro of Houston;
" Four brothers—Santos
Escobar of Freer, Fidel
Escobar of Escobares,
Roman Escobar of San
Diego, and Esteban Escobar
of Alice;
And two sisters, Gertrudis
E. Escobar of Rio Grande
City and Esperanza E.

Mrs. Campa owned Felicia's

three years, and was a
realtor for Pels De Bois in
that city for two years.
Survivors include her
husband, Marcelino Campa
Jr.; two sons, Jose "Tony"
Campa and Marcelino
Campa HI; three daughters,
Mrs. Maria Dolores Morado
^and Mrs. Maria Cristina
Reyna, all of Corpus Christi;
Mrs. Felicia Fiscal and Mrs.
Sylvia Rosa Alva, both of
Livingston, Texas.
Three sisters, Mrs.
Panchita Martinez of
Edinburg; Mrs. Belia Garza
of Reynosa, Mex.; and Mrs.
Elva Gonzalez of Harlingen;
Two brothers, Felipe A.
^Cortez of Weslaco; and
^Abelardo C. Cortez of Tom
Boy, Texas; and 18 grand-
children.
Rosary was recited at 8
p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at the
Ceballos Funeral Home
Chapel in Rio Grande City.
Funeral services were held
at 10:30 a.m. Saturday Nov.
17 at the Immaculate Con-
ception Catholic Church in
Rio Grande City followed by
Vjurial at the Rio Grande City
cemetery under the direc-
tion of Ceballos Funeral.

COWBOY TEAM HONORED- A weiner roast
honored the La Union Cowboys and their coach, Javier
Garcia, for a successful football season. The party was
given on October 28 by Mr. and Mrs. Leonel Saenz, Mr.
and Mrs. Hilario Guerra, and Mr. and Mrs. Victoriano,
Garcia, Jr. A cake in the form of a football field with
fifteen player on it, donated by Mrs. Elenora Garcia,
was the centerpiece. Approximately 45 guests at-
tended.
