(Distributive Education)

D.E. Students are telling it like
it is-on the job training in their
respective training stations
downtown.
Distributive Education is a
VOCATIONAL TRAINING
PROGRAM for high school
students who have the desire
and aptitude to prepare for
careers in the fields of
marketing and distribution.
In addition to classroom
instruction and on-the-job
training, a student participates
in the activities of his local
Chaper of the Distributive
Education Clubs of America.
All of the activities of DECA are
designed to develop leadership
and good citizenship qualitites.
Minimum requirements for
entering the program are
Junior classification, 16 years
of age, approval of the coun-
selor and coordinator, and
capable of training for em-
ployability. Mr. Leonel Pena is
the local Chapter Sponsor.
