After these years of travel Air.
Hansen returned to Detroit. Alich.,
where he entered business. He mar-
ried Airs. Elizabeth Dowing, who pre-
ceded him in' death in 1929 at Dallas,
where Mr. Hansen had been employ-
ed for a number of years by Sears
Roebuck & Co.
As a business executive, he was
finite successful, owning property in
Denmark. Michigan, and Texas. Aluch
of his wealth has been used in philan-
tropliy. He was an extensive reader
having collected an excellent library
of some several thousand volumes.
Mr. Hansen, was a talented and
versatile artist, spending much of
his time making sketches of scenes
remembered from his travels.
This lovable character was a fluent
conversationalist, charming, gallant
and kindly. It may be truly said of
him that
He lived in the house by the
side of the road
And was a friend to man.
He is survived by the following

On Market Square
The rest room and lavatories built
under direction of the City Commis-
sion. were opened to the public Alon-
day. Air. Keller has been employed to
look after the building.
The City Commission with Federal
aid has rocked and put in excellent
condition the farmers' free trading
place and now when the farmers
come to town they have a nice place
to park, trade, swap. etc. The farm-
ers and their families an pleased
with the parking grounds an;! manner
in which the Commission has taken
in putting in these lavatories and
places of rest for the women.
