Kansas City, March 2.—The freight
boycott of the Kansas City, Pittsburg
and Gulf railroad by roads in the South-
western and Western traffic bunaus
practically went iuto effect on Tuesday.
The boycott notice of the Santa Fe, the
Rock Island, the Texas and Pacific and
the Missouri. Kansas and Texas roads is
already effective and that of the other
roads will go into effect on the 7th inst.
The boycotting roads have decided not
to refuse to dcliever or to accept freight
from the Kansas City. Pittsburg and
Gulf road, as at first planned Instead,
to avoid a violation of the interstate
commerce law, prepayment of freight
on all shipments received by the Kansas
City, Pittsburg and Gulf will be de-
manded and full l<K-al tariffs exacted. As
the sum total of the local tariffs is high-
er-than the through rates, the boycotted
road will be forced to make an extreme-
ly low rate to coiup' ie with it> enemies.
Judge J. McD. Trimble, chief counsel
of the Pittsburg and (inif road, >Kid to-
day :
"We \V il prepay freight charges on

may demand them, ami we will bring
suit in the courts for damages and to re-'

a while I con Id not

formed that my father had died from
the same disease, they said I must die,
as hereditary Cancer was incurable.
"At this crisis, I was advised to try
S.S.S., and in a short while the Cancer
began to discharge and continued to do
so for three months, then it began to
heal. I continued the medicine a while
longer until the Cancer disappeared en-

there has been no return of the disease."
