Abuse of the Horse.
AND L.0ABEB.
I take pleasure in writing some
facts in regard to the horse and
its ill usage and the hardships
the poor animal undergoes, which
I think will interest all those
owning that valuable and indis-
pensable animal, the horse.
The poor animal is often driv-
en many miles during the day and
tied up at night without proper
feed or shelter. While the own-
er is comfortably bulged and en-
joying himself, not thinking of
the poor beast that serves him so
faithfully.
He goes out to feed him in the
morning and finds him suffering.
Don't know what ails him.
Drives him until the poor beast
becomes so exhausted from the
pain he is undergoing that he can
not proceed further, notwith-
standing the whip is freely ap-
plied.
The owner next gives medirine.
and still he is not any better.
Then a neighbor is called and of
course he knows of a remedy that
will cure the horse in ten min-
utes. ami then another, and th -

make you feel as if you were on
Springs in reality after you've
taken a little.

shut off. Kyle Obenchain, the
efficient electrical engineer, re-

so no further such interruptions
of religious worship are probable,
at least, while Kyle is on deck.
