OUR NEW TEACHERS.
Those Who Will Teach the Young
Idea How to Shoot Next Term.
The school trustees met at the
president's office in the Collin
county National Bank last night.
All the members of the board
were present, Judge T. C. Good-
lier presiding.
There were 22 applicants, 20
women and 2 men, for the S
places in our school.
The following teachers were
elected by ballot, and on the first
ballot Misses Bobbie Suttle, Al-
lie Rodgers, Wilma Edwards, Ed-
wina Alsup, Maggie Leddy, Josie
Parker, Mattic Houston, Ida
Ball, Miss Ollie Pleniiiion.-- 1st,
and Miss Efiie Smyers, 2nd, su-
pernumerary.
The superintendent will assign
the different teachers their respec-
tive grades. These teachers are
paid $.')0 a month.
Prof. Douglass was elected
principal and Lillic Dotty teacher
of the colored schools, and Mrs.
