1816 GENERAL AND SPECIAL LAWS.
for the purpose of taking sucker, buffalo, carp, shad, or gar
from any of the fresh waters of Hamilton County, Texas.
SEC. 4. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
shall be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10) nor more
than Fifty Dollars ($50).
SEC. 5. Repealing Chapter 47, Acts of the Forty-fourth Legislature,
Regular Session; repealing House Bill No. 965, Acts of
the Forty-fifth Legislature, Regular Session, and all other laws
and parts of laws in so far as they conflict with the provisions
of this Act.
SEC. 6. The importance of this legislation and the fact that
the citizens of Hamilton County desire a change in the law affecting
such County, create an emergency and an imperative
public necessity that the Constitutional Rule requiring bills to
be-read on three several days in each House be and the same is
hereby suspended, and this Act shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage, and it is so enacted.

vote of 104 yeas, 0 nays; passed the Senate, June 24, 1937, by a
vote of 28 yeas, 0 nays.]

TRAVELING EXPENSES OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS IN
CERTAIN COUNTIES.
H. B. No. 52.] CHAPTER 36.
An Act authorizing the Commissioners Court in each county in this
State having a population of not less than forty-two thousand, one
hundred and twenty-five (42,125), nor more than forty-two thousand,
one hundred and fifty (42,150), according to the last preceding Federal
Census, to allow each County Commissioner certain expenses for traveling
and in connection with the use of his automobile on official
business in overseeing the construction work on public roads of the
county; requiring each such Commissioner to pay the expense of
operation and repair of such vehicle so used by him without'further
expense to the county; and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. In any county in this State containing a population
of not less than forty-two thousand, one hundred and
twenty-five (42,125), nor more than forty-two thousand, one
hundred and fifty (42,150), according to the last preceding Federal
Census, the Commissioners Court is hereby authorized to
allow each Commissioner the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25)
per month for traveling expenses and depreciation on the auto-
