grade student at St. Mark's School of
Texas, he is the brother of Michael,

the grandson of proud grandparents
Sally and Edward Genecov of Dallas
and Nancy and Robert Weinburger
of South Lyon, Mch. For his mitzvah
project, Max organized a video drive
for The Child Life Department of
Medical City Children's Hospital.
Weekend festivities honoring
Max include a Shabbat dinner
hosted by Lisa and Jeff Genecov,
Julie and Rob Shrell and Bernice
Freiden. Co-hosts at the Shabbat
luncheon will be his maternal and
paternal grandparents.

and granddaughter of Hans and
Trudy Peiser of Johannesburg,
South Africa, and Florine Cohen
and the late Irvin Jacobson of Balti-
more, Md.
An eighth grader at the Ann and
Nate Levine Academy, she is a
member of the National Junior
Honor Society, the Citizenship
Honor Roll, the Academic Honor
Roll, the H20 (Help To Others)
Fund, and a Student Ambassador.
For her mitzvah project, she col-
lected videos and DVDs for the
Children's Hospital at Medical
City.
Jackie will be honored by her
grandparents at a kiddush lun-
cheon following her bat mitzvah.

Efraim Karchmer
Ms. Tricia Prengler Cohan of
Dallas has announced the engage-
ment of her daughter Valerie, to
Efraim Karchmer, son of Ms. Emma
Karchmer and the late Jaime
Karchmer of Mexico City.
The bride-elect is the grand-
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mendel
Prengler of Dallas and Dr. and Mrs.
Stuart Cohan of Houston. The
future groom is the grandson of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Mottl Karchmer
and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leon
Siano, all of Mexico City.
Valerie received a B.A. in Com-
munications and Marketing in 2001
from the University of Arizona.
Efraim graduated from Universidad
Jberoamericana Mexico City where
he received a Bachelor of Science in
1996.
A Spring 2006 wedding in Aca-
pulco, Mexico is planned.
Audra Hochster and
Jacques Ohayon
Audra Hochster and Jacques
Ohayon, both of New York City, will
be united in marriage on Sept. 22,
2005 in Rockleigh, N.J. The future
bride is the daughter of Jeff and
Linda Hochster of Fort Worth and
Dr. Larry and Cindy Korenman of
Dallas.
Audra is a graduate of the Uni-
versity of Arizona where she
received a B.A. in Communication
and Judaic Studies. She is associated
with Necessary Objects in New York
in sales and marketing.
Jacques is the son of Esther
Ohayon and the late Elie Ohayon of
New York City. He attended
Bernard M. Baruch College, City
University of New York, where he
graduated cum laude with a B.B.A.
in Finance. He is the president of
Ambassador Real Estate and Mar-
brose Realty.
