This postcard was never mailed - no stamp or no postmark. The Regiment is marching in two columns that looks to stretch about one mile long. We do not have enough information to ascertain where in Mexico this Army Regiment is traveling through or the name of the Army Regiment. Since the Sierra Mountains (in northern Mexico) covered thousands of miles of land, it is challenging to pinpoint the exact location for this photographic event. However, since this Regiment is part of the Punitive Expedition and there is verifiable information for the routes that the expedition took; this Army Regiment is most likely traveling though the Sierra Madre Occidental Range in the western-north western part of the Mexican State of Chihuahua.
