Notes

Robert Lee Blaffer (1875-1942) was one of the founders of Humble Oil and Refining Company, and president from 1933-37. His spouse was art patron and philanthropist, Sarah Campbell Blaffer (1885-1975). The Robert Lee Blaffer Memorial Wing of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is named in his honor.
