THAT BRIDGE
Mr. Enterprise.—-A few weeks ago
a gentleman was around getting mon-
ey to build a btfdgtf upon Three-Mile
Branch, and succeeded, we believe, in
raising some fifteen dollars. Gentle-
men who pass the road tell us there
is no bridge there, and has not been,
except three small poles and some
brush, and that it is almost impossible
for man or beast, wagon or stage to
cross. We would be pleased for the
money (that was collected for bridge
buildingto be appropriated to *aiá
purpose.
Yours truly,
Folks Interested.
•Certainly—a'traveler catnfe very
near being drowned there on Thurs-
day last, by the bogging of his horse
while the creek was very full.
